In honor of Granville "Shorty" Bolen, KC8MN.  Granville "Shorty" Bolen, age 70, of South Zanesville, Ohio, died at 4:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.  He was married to Cleta M. Brauneller on Oct. 22, 1950. She survives.  He was a screw machinist instructor at United Technologies Automotive, retiring in 1992. He was a ham radio operator (KC8MN), a member of A.R.R.L., and the Zanesville Amateur Radio Club. He was an avid golfer, a member of the Fuller's Fairway Golf Course, frequently played golf at the Jaycee's Golf Course, and was a member of Etna Acres Golf Course, Andrews. He also was a computer buff.  Shorty will be missed.  <Full Obit>

In honor of Jim Norman, W8RYW.  Jim was an active Ham in Coshocton County.  He had served in years past as an Elmer teaching Novice classes for future Ham Radio Operators.  I was one of those future Hams.  Jim will be missed.

In honor of Robert Bryant, W8JNS.  Bob (Festes) or whatever affectionate name you used for him was a great Ham all the way around.  Soon after I got my Novice license (KB8ERC), Bob helped me get on 10 Meters after having a bad experience with a so-called new but bad microphone.  He was one a few Elmers that have helped me early in this avocation.  Bob will be missed.

In honor of Gordon B. Jividen, KA8VSS.  Gordon B. Jividen, age 73, of Zanesville, passed away at 3:33 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at the Ohio State University Medical Center.  Gordon was a member of the Zanesville Amateur Radio Club and will be dearly missed.  <Full Obit>
